Kevin Kufs (34) will become CEO of Hermes Fulfilment GmbH, Hamburg, with effect from April 1, 2021. Kufs succeeds Georg Rau, who has decided to take on a new professional challenge at another company after almost seven successful years.
Kevin was appointed Chief Operating Officer of HF on January 1, 2021. After completing a banking apprenticeship and a Master's degree, he started his career at international retail and e-commerce companies very early on. Kevin spent over four years in the management of the e-commerce service provider Trade Global Asia Holding (formerly Netrada) in Hong Kong, most recently as Member of the Board and CEO for Asia Pacific. In November 2015, he moved to Singapore as CEO of 360shoes.com.
A successor to Kevin as COO is yet to be named
Kevin joined the Otto Group in 2017. As Head of Operations, he was responsible for Hermes Fulfilment's client business for two years. Since January 2019, as Group Vice President, he has been responsible for the Otto Group's supply chain management and the associated transformation, as well as the coordination of the Group logistics network and the implementation of various strategy projects. A successor as COO will be appointed at a later date, until then Kevin will continue in this role. The appointment of Eva Witte as Chief Financial Officer of HF remains unaffected. In addition to Finance, Controlling & Services and Human Resources, she will also be responsible for Communications and the project portfolio.
